Whilst Judy was hard at work at the conference in Canterbury, John went to stay with Nick in Marseille. They went to the beach, visited Arles (saw a bullfight - the bulls are tormented but not killed); and saw the entry of Le Tour de France into Marseille and the exit from Aix-en-Provence the next day.
